The Philippines' Trip - Day 1

04 December 2014

Boarded Cebu Pacific (5J 734) at 2.15 in the morning from KKIA Terminal 2.  We arrived at Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal 3 at 4.10 in the morning.  After everything sorted out at the airport, we proceeded to the awaiting van.  And the journey began.

We arrived at Clark around 6.30 in the morning.  We checked in at Juanita's Guesthouse.  After freshened ourselves, off we go for breakfast.  Everyone was starving.  The only place we could eat that early in the morning was at Chow King, a very popular fast food restaurant in the Philippines.

For our first visit, we went to Subic's Marine Park. There was an entrance fee of 550 pesos per adult.  It was around 45.00 Ringgit Malaysia.  Just like other ocean adventures, this park also had whales, sea lions, and other animals.

The weather was quite hot but we had fun.  Especially the Balancing Act show.  Then, we had our lunch in their one and only restaurant.  Packed with people.  After we ate, we browsed through their souvenir shop.  Bought one or two souvenirs then off we go!

Reaching SM Mall.  And it was shopping time!  Well not for me though but for the children.  I was only interested with the cooling air conditioning.

Done with shopping, we went back to our hotel.  Rested for a while before dinner.  Our first dinner, we ate the ever-popular Lechon!  Not to my liking anyway.  Just tasted a bit.

After dinner, the children gone back to their room.  It's time for the adult to explore Clark's nightlife :)  Anyway, I was too tired to enjoy everything.  Just imagined, I have not slept since I left KK!  Around 11.30 we left the pub.

Took bath and dozed off!  End of Day 1.

Getting Well.....Slowly

As I mentioned in my previous post, I was not feeling well since Christmas last year.  Coughing, coughing and coughing.  I've seen a doctor, bought Chinese herbs, keep on visiting pharmacy but still no results.

So, last January 28th, following an advice from a colleague, I went to see see a Sensei a.k.a. Sinsang and he prescribed me medicines as pictures.  It was a three-day prescriptions. Finished them all.  The cough slowly receding.  Thank God!

I hope it will be gone completely soon.

In the meantime, I have watched:

Mortdecai ( I watched this because of Johnny Depp!)
Wild Card

Next post will be about  the Philippines' trip :) ........hopefully!
